My latest television program, titled Johnnie Burrell Presents, is broadcast twice a month. You can see it:

  • in San Francisco on Comcast cable Channel 29 and its affiliate station, Channel 76, the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time (click here for live Web stream),
  • in New York on MNN (Manhattan Neighborhood Network), Channel 57; the remaining 2009 programs will air December 3 and December 17 from 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time (streamed live on the Web at www.mnn.org).

On my March 18, 2010 show, I interview Evelyn Polk. Evelyn’s new book is a memoir titled It’s Heart Work: Being The Village That Raises A Child. Author, motivational speaker, and foster parent Evelyn Polk’s book offers insight and inspiration to foster parents and their adopted children.

I interviewed Janie P. Bess, author of the book Visions: A Faith Inspired Journey of the Human Spirit. She talks about her son David, who was born deaf, mute, and blind, and inspired her and others to “never give up.”

Mr. Bohemia, an interview with Herb Gold, one of America's most important and distinguished writers. Aired October 15 in San Francisco; airing November 19 on MNN in Manhattan.
